The C70MH-5 is a heavy versatile model designed to perform at its best in today’s tough fishing conditions.
With a broad taper and “h-shaped taper” at the tip, it focuses the load point for effortless casting accuracy. It enables precise, low-trajectory casts under overhangs and tight cover with ease.

Incorporating taper design concepts from swimbait and big bait rods, the butt section is built with a rapidly rising taper, increasing lure weight capacity to handle big baits up to around 2 oz, while dramatically enhancing long-distance casting performance.

For reeling baits, the “h-shaped taper” allows smooth slack-line retrieves, letting lures move naturally and lifelike in the water while providing an ideal bite response for the fish to inhale the bait securely.
Even with hard baits that require precise control, the tip transmits movement faithfully without dampening the action.

When used for worming, the special taper enables delicate manipulation, automatically generating line slack while transmitting subtle underwater feedback directly to the hand — delivering excellent sensitivity.
The tip does not collapse under the resistance of rubber jigs or heavy Texas rigs, avoiding snags while maintaining control.
