The S64UL-2 is a versatile UL spinning rod that allows any angler to perform smooth, clean shakes with ease.
Even under tough conditions, it enables high-pitch shaking that triggers bites, while delivering the sensitivity unique to a high-elastic full tubular blank, compatibility with a wide range of rigs, and excellent long-distance casting performance.
This model excels in hover strolling, mid strolling, and bottom strolling, showing outstanding performance in smelt (Wakasagi) lakes nationwide.

Although it features a center-cut 2-piece UL power construction, it has no stiffness or “joint feel” at the connection point, achieving a natural casting feel, excellent long-distance performance with light rigs, superb sensitivity, and high controllability.
Instead of simply turning an existing mid-strolling UL rod into a 2-piece version, the taper balance was redesigned from the ground up to maintain all required functions within the center-cut 2-piece design — resulting in an original, finely tuned taper.

The “h-shaped taper” on the tip section creates both high sensitivity and operability, allowing anglers to even sense subtle tension changes in the line during slack-line shaking.
Even under strong winds, the tip remains stable and responsive, letting you maintain focus and keep a consistent shake rhythm.

In bottom-contact fishing, the rod provides an exceptional feel for bottom and weed contact and release, surprising for a center-cut 2-piece rod.
